Neurodiversity-Affirming speech therapy for receptive and expressive language delays and differences servicing Northeast Miami-Dade and Southeast Broward counties

Meet Jenie

Jenie Rayek, M.S., CCC-SLP

I am a bilingual (English/ Spanish) pediatric speech-language pathologist working with children and their families in order to help them achieve their communication goals. You can find me in my office in Hallandale, FL. I can also travel to daycares, schools, homes, and playgrounds in select circumstances.

I received my bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Education from Yeshiva University. I then received my Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Yeshiva University. I have years of experience working with Autistic children, late talkers, and children with developmental delays and disorders.

Pediatric Speech Therapy Services

Little Talkers uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach that focuses on each child's strengths and uses research-based therapy to build upon them. My goal is to work with you and your child to reach their highest communication potential. I believe that every child deserves to have a voice and every child has the ability to get there with the correct type of therapy and tools.

Therapy begins by truly getting to know your child. I take the time to learn your child’s strengths and challenges, their unique interests, and what makes them happy. After a comprehensive evaluation, I partner with the parents/ caregivers to come up with a plan. We create SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timebound) goals. All therapy sessions are play-based, strength- based and follow your child’s interests.
